Due to the proximity of our products and our technical manufacturing options, our customers can additionally rely on a complementary product range that we can supply as required and according to customer requirements; The background is a systematic supply of our customers also with hinge-close products "from one hand" in proven Kaltenbach quality.
This assortment is divided into two categories, and offers the possibility to inquire about a wide range of products of the closing and gripping technique, as well as on fittings and special parts and assemblies of the forming technology in addition to the respective hinge requirements. Door retainers & locking systems // Fully integrated and partly integrated or separately with gas & tension spring
Depending on the installation situation, doors and flaps as well as any other form of connection require detents or fixing mechanisms in order to generate a holding position at defined opening angles or in the end stop. For this purpose we construct variants of door retainers or kinematic locking systems in coordination with our customers in order to provide a full, semi-integrated or separate function (inter alia with gas or tension springs) depending on individual loads, locking angles and ambient conditions. Laser processing & 3D printing // Single & serial parts in optional / additive production
Alternative manufacturing processes are also gaining in importance within classical metalworking. The demand for precision and tolerance accuracy is particularly evident in filigree installation spaces and gap-free surfaces. In addition to our conventional production processes, we also produce precisely fitting parts by means of laser processing or additively in the form of 3D printing processes. In particular, we use the additive methods for initial viewing patterns or as an alternative to the usual prototype construction from series parts. Assemblies & CNC Articles // Complex and Multifunctional End Articles
Hinge solutions are designed for a variety of end product functions. The individual connection is often the focus in door and flap applications. In addition, hinge kinematics also fulfill higher-level functions as a component of assemblies or as a pure kinematic extension or pivoting system. It is not (or not only) about the pure opening or closing of components but also about the functional integration and cost reduction in an overarching end product structure.
